Business Spotlight

Two smiling people standing behind a table of large popcorn bags, part of a popcorn stand at an outdoor event. The person on the left wears a blue shirt, sunglasses, and an apron, and the person on the right has a green shirt and a watch. In the background, there is a man cooking meat on a grill under a blue tent with yellow text. The image is promotional for Big Lou's Kettle Corn at the 2026 Chamber of Commerce event in Sierra County.

What popped off for some more beer money turned into one of New Mexico's favorite kettle corn businesses. Armed with a great recipe, plenty of hard work, and a passion for bringing people together, Big Lou and Joanie have been traveling to community celebrations, festivals, fairs, markets, and special events across the Southwest to share their delicious creation.

For Louis and Joanie, it has never been just about the kettle corn itself. It's about the conversations shared over a fresh bag, the familiar faces who stop by year after year, and the memories made one event at a time. Every batch is popped with care and served with a smile, making Big Lou's Kettle Corn a crowd favorite wherever they go.

Keep an eye on their upcoming event schedule to see where they'll be popping up next, or book Big Lou's Kettle Corn for your next festival, fundraiser, wedding, corporate event, or community celebration. One taste, and you'll understand why people keep coming back for more!
